About Scotty McCreery
Scotty McCreery burst onto the national scene in 2011 at age 17, quickly establishing himself as one of country music’s hottest stars. His first album, Clear As Day (released four years ago this week as he turned 18), made history when he became both the youngest artist in any genre and the first country artist to have his initial album debut at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. That album went Platinum in 13 weeks and featured the Platinum-certified hits “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble With Girls.” After releasing his Gold-certified Christmas with Scotty McCreery which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Holiday Albums chart, the talented vocalist with the signature deep voice put out See You Tonight in 2013 which contained two Top Ten Hits: the Platinum-certified title cut which McCreery co-wrote with Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell, and the Gold-certified “Feelin’ It.” Now at age 22, McCreery has sold more than 2.5 million albums, received more than 50 million Spotify streams, earned an ACM and CMT Award, toured with Brad Paisley, The Band Perry and Rascal Flatts, amassed more than three million followers on Facebook and Twitter and received more than 150 million YouTube views.  Earlier this week, it was announced that he has written his first book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream, which will be released on May 3, 2016 from Zondervan.
