May 5, 2006 - Millions of votes have been tabulated from all 50 states, and American television viewers have by chosen 20-year-old Chris Young as the fourth season winner of USA Network's NASHVILLE STAR. Chris Young's winning moment came during the season finale that aired live from Nashville's BellSouth Acuff Theatre on USA Network on Tuesday, May 2 at 10:00/9:00PM Central.

NASHVILLE STAR, the nation’s top-rated country music series, has lined up Hallmark Channel talk show host and Grammy Award winning country music superstar Naomi Judd to guest judge its fourth episode airing Tuesday, April 4 on USA Network, it was announced today by Libby Hansen, USA Network’s vice president of alternative series & specials. Daughter Wynonna and the other half of the award-winning duo The Judds is co-hosting the fourth season with “hick-hop” originator Cowboy Troy.

Nashville Star, USA Network’s grassroots talent search reality series to find the next country music superstar, continues its third season on Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 10:00 PM (ET/PT)/9:00 CT on USA Network. Sara Evans, who guested on the show last season, will open the show with the #1 hit single, “Suds in the Bucket,” from her platinum-selling CD, Restless.
