TAYLOR SWIFT JOINS ELITE GROUP WITH THIRD TOP 10 SINGLE

CMA HORIZON AWARD NOMINEE TAYLOR ALSO CELEBRATES NEXT WEEK’S RELEASE OF HER LIMITED DELUXE EDITION CD WITH 5 CONSECUTIVE SOLD-OUT HEADLINING SHOWS
Nashville, TN – November 1, 2007 – Taylor Swift reached another milestone this week when her latest single, “Our Song,” jumped from #13 into the Top 10 on Billboard’s country radio chart, gaining 1.7 million audience impressions. This is Taylor’s third consecutive Top 10 single, and she joins Gretchen Wilson and Carrie Underwood as the only female solo country artists this decade to score three straight Top 10 singles from a debut album.
Taylor has spent the greater part of 2007 on the road as a special guest on Brad Paisley’s Bonfires & Amplifiers tour (which she joined in April), and last week, during a rare hiatus in the tour, Taylor played a series of concerts as a headliner. Each and every date sold out, with Taylor and her band playing 60 minute shows to beyond-capacity crowds numbering in the thousands in Pullman, Wash., Denver (2 shows), Colorado Springs and Great Falls, Montana. Playing her own shows gave Taylor the opportunity to expand her nightly set list, and she was able to showcase several selections from her new release, The Taylor Swift Limited Deluxe Edition, which hits stores next Tuesday, November 6th.
Taylor Swift Limited Deluxe Edition is an enhanced version of Taylor’s self-titled debut CD—which was released on October 23, 2006 and has since been certified platinum. Taylor’s Deluxe Edition is a CD / DVD dual set, containing new music and over an hour of video extras, including three new songs from Taylor and a behind-the-scenes home movie of her life over the past year, compiled and edited by Taylor herself.
The release of her new music and video package is not Taylor’s only big event next week. Seventeen year-old Taylor will attend the CMA Awards--this year as a performer and a nominee for the prestigious Horizon Award. Earlier this year CMT lauded Taylor with a CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year, and this month she was honored by the Nashville Songwriters Association International as their Songwriter / Artist of the Year. Next month she travels to Los Angeles for the American Music Awards, where she will be a presenter on the telecast, and is nominated (along with Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood) for Favorite Female Country Artist.
